Y2 Consultants replaced a failed water system and the failing wastewater utilities at the Snake River Mobile Home Park located south of Jackson, Wyoming. This extensive project included the reinstatement of old wells and installation of a surface water treatment system with sand and microfiltration, UV, and chlorination. Multiple 20,000 gallon underground finished water storage tanks were installed in conjunction with duplex booster pumps, a new main water line, and new services to 26 trailers. The 30 year old septic tanks and leach fields were replaced with a new sewer network and lift station which pumps wastewater to a decentralized, onsite membrane bioreactor that discharges high quality effluent to the Snake River. We obtained DEQ construction and surface discharge permits and updated water rights. Y2 is also operating both water and wastewater treatment systems while fulfilling regular EPA and DEQ compliance monitoring.
